Pouring of oil on the forehead (Shirodhara)

Shirodhara is a great rejuvenation treatment. The word shiro means head while dhara means a constant flow. This treatment uses the constant flow of a slightly warmed herbal oil on the forehead poured from a pot that is 8-12 inches above the head, moving at times from side to side while other times still above. This oil flows continuously which then runs through the hair and scalp till it drops into another container sitting on the floor. This treatment is given for 30 minutes for 3 to 7 days, dependent on condition. The treatment finishes with a Head and neck massage. We use Ayurvedic herbal oils which easily support and balance Vata and open the prana channels to calm and nourish the nervous system.

Ayurvedic Head Massage (Shirobhayanga)

This is a fantastic treatment to quickly relieve stress!

This method of head massage concentrates on “marmas” or energy points of the head, neck and shoulders. A range of different massage pressures and rhythms are used to stimulate the senses, increase blood circulation, encourage healing, and leave the body and mind completely rejuvenated. The massage includes the head, neck, shoulders and arms.

Ayurvedic Facelift (Mukhabhyanga)


£50 - 1hour

An Ayurvedic facial with herbs and aromatic oils increase flow of energy as '“marma points” are gently massaged. The facial rejuvenation treatment relaxes and restores areas around the forehead, eyes, nose and mouth and uplifts the facial muscles, eases neck and shoulder tension. Continuous treatments remove fine lines, sagging features, muscles affected by tiredness and stress, skin problems and poor circulation, leaving your skin relaxed, revitalised and glowing ! The treatment finishes with a deep penetrating herbal mask.

Errhine therapy (Nasya)


£35 - 30 minutes

Nasya is a great treatment for pain or discomfort in the head, neck or shoulders region.

It effectively relieves sore neck and shoulders, headaches, allergies, congestion, loss of smell, sneezing, sinusitis, sunken and puffy eyes. Nasya is also beneficial for sufferers of insomnia, as well as for those who feel run-down and fatigued.

This treatment starts with a short face massage with oil matched to your constitution. Heat is then applied to your face for deeper penetration of the oil. The treatment ends with the administration of 3-8 drops of oil in each nostril, depending on your concerns. A series of these treatments can be taken for even more pronounced results. A 3 or 7 day treatment is given according to the condition being treated.
