Reiki Healing
Reiki draws from “universal energy” and works at all levels of human existence – physical, mental and spiritual which bring balance and harmony to the whole body. It is an ancient form of healing believed to have spread through Tibet, China and India decades ago. It was rediscovered in the late 19th century in Sanskrit teachings from the days of the Buddha by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian minister and theology teacher.
The word Reiki is Japanese where "Rei" means "universal" and "Ki" means life energy - the same as in the Chinese "chi" or the Sanskrit "prana". This vital life giving energy is channelled through the Reiki healer to the recipient of a treatment to activate the body's natural ability to heal itself. (£40 - 1 hour)

There are several Reiki sharing groups available to practitioners to join free of cost or for a nominal fee. These are held in different places around the UK.
