Product Description

Punarnava owes its name to its ability to purify and rejuvenate the body as punar means – again and again – while nava means anew. It is part of the family of Nyctaginaceae or Nightshade. The plant reproces in the rainy season by means of fast growing shoots. The best part is its fleshy white rootstock. Thanks to its striking diuretic action, the root has been utilised in Ayurveda since time immemorial to help with treatment of urine retention, oedemas, ascities and internal inflammations.
