Dr. Anita Duggal M.B.Ch.B., MSc., MRCPsych., Dip. A. A.Dip.A.M., PGDip.A.M.


Dr. Anita Duggal is one of the few Western trained medical doctors who has also studied Ayurvedic Medicine. She is a specialist in psychiatry working in this field for the past fifteen years. Anita obtained a Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine in India and a Masters in Ayurvedic Medicine in the UK from Middlesex University in 2007 and is a registered Ayurvedic Practitioner with the Ayurvedic Medical Association (UK). She aims to provide a holistic and integrated approach to problems of health, by drawing from the knowledge and wisdom of Ayurvedic principles as well as her knowledge of the system of modern medicine and Psychiatry.

Dr . Gayathri B.A.M.S., M.D. (Ayu) (Kaumarabhrtya)


Dr. Gayathri Bhat has taught in several Ayurvedic colleges in India and the UK. She was Head of Dept. of Prasoothi Tantra and Stree Roga at the SDM College of Ayurveda, Hassan; Professor for the same department in K.A.M.college, Belgaum and is also a Consultant Obstetrition and Gynecologist at her own clinic 'Girija Ayurvedic Evecare' in Hassan. Dr Gayathri also teaches at Mayur Ayurveda University of Europe in London, UK as a Visiting Faculty. She has conducted several free medical camps and given radio talks on different subjects relating to woman health. She has been practising Ayurveda since 1992 and is an expert on woman's health and fertility issues.

Dr. Narayan Prakash B.A.M.S., M.D. (Ayu) (Manasaroga)


Dr N Prakash is Head of Dept. of Manasaroga at SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital in Hassan - the biggest Ayurvedic teaching hospital in India. He has over 15 years of experience, specifically in neuro-psychiatric disorders and has given over 50 talks and live programmes on common psychiatric disorders and their management in All India Radio. He has also written several articles and books that have been published in India. Dr Prakash works with several Western Ayurvedic students who come to SDM college to do their internship and is therefore aware of the daily mental pressures of working and living in a fast pace Western society. His desire to contribute towards a stress free world prompted him to become a part of For Balance in an Advisory doctor's role.
